Bellezza Italiana

After Roberto Cavalli's 'Diva' bag, this new, elegant 'Florence' bag surely is the new IT bag voor the ss 2012 season. The 'Florence' bag goes with almost every outfit, whether you are stepping out casually in jeans or in a nice summer dress. I want one please!

I have always loved and adored Roberto Cavalli's designs, in my eyes he never dissapoints. To see his full range of collection go to http://www.robertocavalli.com/

Victoria's Secret

Today's blog is dedicated to the most beautiful lingerie brand, Victoria's Secret. Every year Victoria's Secret will host a fashion show where beautiful angels strut their new lingerie collection. Just last week was the 2011 fashion show. I absolutely love Victoria's Secret and I wish that Australia (and Amsterdam) opened up a store, I'm such a sucker for sexy lingerie.  Their collection consists from basics to swimwear to sleepwear to very seductive and romantic. Which girl wouldn't want a closet full of Secrets?

One of my favourite angels, Doutzen Kroes, not only is she beautiful, she's Dutch too

Adriana Lima, also one of my favourites. Look at this beautiful lace set. I'll have one please.

Australian beauty Miranda Kerr. She was the lucky chosen one to wear the 2.5 million dollar bra as shown below. Wow is all I can say
For more of their collection go to their website, http://www.victoriassecret.com/

Matthew Williamson

Today I want to share with you one of my favourite designer, the one and only Matthew Williamson. His dresses are exquisite and gorgeous and I love them because they would make any woman beautiful and feminine. He is known for using exotic colours to make the dress stand out from other designers.
Actress Sienna miller is a muse to Williamson and is often seen in one of his creations.

Judge yourself! More of his collection can be seen on http://www.matthewwilliamson.com/

My favourite city in the world...

Hello my fashion friends,
I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed the sunshine :)
Today I thought I would blog about my favourite city in the world... Can you guess which city it is? I think all my friends would chant PARIS at the same time. Yes, it's Paris. I am so in love with this city. Not only is it an incredibly beautiful city, it is also the home of Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier and ofcourse shoe designer Christian Louboutin (which girl wouldn't want a pair of Louboutins??)
I already have a collection of eiffel tower necklaces, earrings, a bag and a Paris thermos. Below I will share a few of my personal pictures of my time spend in Paris...

Tell me, what's your favourite city and why?

Bisous and enjoy the pictures, Joyce

The best view you can only get from the top of the Sacre Coeur. It's a fair walk up the stairs, but the view is breathtaking
The sacre coeur, inside is also very beautiful. Unfortunately not allowed to take photo's inside.

Moulin rouge, who doesn't know this ;). I think a show and dinner is definitely worthwhile, but it was too expensive for us.
The Louvre. If you love art, then this is for sure a place to check out.
Galeries Lafayette is a French department store. This department store is beautiful inside.
 On top of Galleries Lafayette
How can you not love this city
Ofcourse I had to visit a fashion show in Paris ;)
 Love love love
 The Eiffel Tower

 The Seine
 Under the Eiffel Tower
View from the Eiffel Tower. Every different view is breathtaking.
 Just like this one
My favourite street ;) the Avenue des Champs Elysees!
Champs Elysees

Place du Tetre. Artists paint beautiful paintings here. They also draw portraits.
So I got one done too :)
Some may recognize this cafe. Yes... it's 'Amelie's' cafe!
I hope everyone will have a chance to visit the city of love!

Supermarket proof

The other day I was talking to a colleague about supermarket fashion. I've lived in Amsterdam for six years and I used to wear my heels to the supermarket and no one would look at me in a strange way. I have tried this here in Australia and I don't think I would ever do this again. People looked at me and I could see them think 'why is she wearing heels to a supermarket'?
Now, you don't need to do your groceries in heels like me (well, used to, it is all about adjusting), but girls, stay away from wearing pyjamas to the shops, it is not necessary and you never know who you might run into!
Below are some suggestions what I think are supermarket proof outfits. Enjoy!

Try a pair of coloured jean/pants! They come in all different colours from yellow to purple to red. You can always roll up the pants a little bit, this straight away gives a different effect.
Combine them with a nice white button up shirt or a checked shirt, but make sure the colour of the checked shirt goes well with the colour pants.
If you are not really digging the coloured jean/pants go for a nice pair of jeans.

So instead of wearing heels, sandals or ballerina's are a good alternative. They also come in different colour and sizes, check out a few below. If you are not really a sandal person and rather go for thongs I'd suggest Gisele Bundchen's Ipanema collection. I absolutely love her thongs (collection), they are comfortable and are just a little bit more than the normal, plain thong --> http://www.ipanemaflipflops.co.uk/gisele.html

To finish of your supermarket proof outfit try a nice little shoulder bag. I don't like doing groceries with a big bag on my arm/shoulder. Collette has a nice range of bags which are worth checking out --> http://www.colette.com.au/
And last of all, don't forget your own shopping bag, a cleaner environment starts with you!

Vera Wang

Vera Wang has designed a black collection of wedding dresses. Personally I wouldn't want to get married in a black dress, but regardless, everything she touches turns into something so beautiful. I hope that one day I get to meet her and she wants to design and make my wedding dress... A girl can dream!!!
What do you think?
