Happy Fashionable New Year

Dear Fashionistas,

New Years Eve is approaching. Have you thought about what you are going to wear? I have and I will show you below! The most important thing about picking a good new years eve outfit, or any outfit for that matter, is to know what kind of night it's going to be, so location is key. Are you celebrating in a posh club or on the beach or a houseparty? You will probably get lots of strange looks if you wear a very posh, Herve Leger kind of dress and you are going to a beach party.
I am going to a houseparty for new years eve, so I opted for a very simple black dress. I thought "yea black goes with everything" so I didn't think that picking out my accessories would be very hard. Was I wrong. In my mind I wanted bright, dark blue accessories, but then I found a very cute hippy, flowery head band and I thought it would go really well with my dress. So that made everything a little harder, but not impossible. Because the head band is now the main accessory I should keep the rest very simple and fine. So I chose this beautiful leaf necklace. The shoes I haven't figured out yet, below are three options but I may replace them all with another kind. Hope you like it!

Have a good New Years Eve everyone and stay safe!

Merry Christmas

Hello my fashion friends,

As everyone is busy running around buying presents, I am busy trying to find the perfect Christmas outfit. I think a Christmas outfit should be very simple but chique. Just because it's Christmas one shouldn't dress up like a Christmas tree with lots of glitter and red and green. It's just not necessary. Always remember what you wore last year for Christmas, you wouldn't want to be spotted with the same outfit two years in a row. If you can't remember, I'm sure someone took pictures so have a look on them. White is always risky as the festivities is mainly food and drinks. Last year I wore a white dress and someone spilled red wine on it, I was nearly in tears.

Below I put together three outfits. Enjoy!

Outfit 1: Dress: H&M, Shoes: Zu, Earrings: Collette. You can never go wrong with a beautiful, simple black dress. As there are prints on the dress, try and keep the rest of the outfit relatively simple. I chose these beautiful, orange peeptoe pumps, but as it is a black dress, any colour shoe would go with this (except dark brown, don't even go there). Blue would be nice or even pink if you are in a daring mood. You can even opt for a nice black pump but then it would be an idea to accessorize it with bright colours like orange, pink, red, green etc.

Outfit 2: Kaftan: Forever new, Shoes: Zu, Earrings: Collette. I have kept this outfit very much on the safe side by accessorizing it with silver. A yellow or orange clutch would look very nice with this outfit. A few nice silver bangles would complete the outfit.

Outfit 3: Navy blue trousers: Miss Selfridge, Blouse: H&M, Blazer: H&M, White top: H&M, Shoes: ZU
This is a very different outfit than the other two, but equally as nice. I gave you two options. The first one is with the blouse. Tuck this one into your trousers to make sure you show off the trousers and the belt. A very plain white blouse would also look great with these pants. The second option is a plain white singlet or t-shirt. Tuck this one also into the trousers and top it off with a nice brown/champagne colour blazer. Finish off these outfits with a nice pair of brown heels or wedges. For the second option you could also change the belt into a red, thin belt and match them with the same heels but in a red colour. Sandals are also possible under these trousers but make sure your trousers don't drag on the floor.

Good luck with finding your Christmas outfit this year. Merry Christmas everyone!
